COVID Policy

While Chasing Wonder encourages the sharing of ideas and creations, we strongly discourage the sharing of viruses and other pathogens. 

Vaccinations

We require that all Chasing Wonder attendees be up to date on all COVID-19 vaccinations available to them based on their age and health.

Before you Arrive

We ask that you take a rapid test within 24 hours of arriving at Chasing Wonder and take a photo of the result. 

You will be asked to show the photo of your negative test when you arrive at Chasing Wonder. If you forget to take a photo, we will provide you with a test when you arrive that you can take before entering.

If your test is positive, you will not be able to attend.

We also ask that you not attend if you have: 

• tested positive within 7 days of the conference start, or 

• COVID-like symptoms, (including fever, cough, shortness of breath, chills, muscle pains, headache, sore throat, diarrhea, vomiting or fatigue) within 2 days of the conference.

If you must cancel for any of these reasons, please email organizers@wonder.voyage to let us know you will not be attending.

When you Arrive 

We will provide rapid tests for all attendees and ask that you test Saturday and Sunday morning before returning to the conference. If you test positive we ask that you notify the organizers immediately and not rejoin the conference.

 At the Conference

Masks will be encouraged, but not required, in indoor spaces. Should conditions change, the mask policy may change – please see the “Your Agreement” section at the end of this document.

• Masks will be provided for attendees upon request.

• Outdoor seating will be available for all meals.

• If you choose to wear a mask, you will not be asked to remove it to speak in a session

• We are working with the hosting facility to improve ventilation in meeting rooms and add additional air filtration where possible

The conference Code of Conduct requires that all attendees will treat each other with respect in all regards and that includes the personal choice to wear, or not wear a mask.

Your Agreement

When you register for the conference, you will be asked to agree to these guidelines:

• By registering for this conference, I agree that I will carefully review and, during the event and all event-related activities, comply with all applicable COVID-19-related federal, state, and local laws, regulations, and guidance and any other protocols that may be implemented by Chasing Wonder or the conference venue.  

• I acknowledge that Chasing Wonder cannot guarantee that attendees will not be exposed to or contract COVID-19 while attending the conference, and that by attending I may be exposing or increasing my risk of contracting or spreading COVID-19.

• I understand that Chasing Wonder will continue to closely monitor conditions related to COVID-19 between now and the start of the conference, and reserves the right to modify its COVID-19 related procedures and health screening protocols (including mask policy) should conditions change. Registrants will be informed of any such changes on an ongoing basis. As a condition of attendance and participation, I agree to follow the protocols as required. Refusal to abide by COVID-19 related procedures will result in ejection from the conference and cancellation of my registration.
